ETHNIC HISTORY EXHIBIT ON VIEW IN NEW HAVEN CITY HALL
(3/8/2010) Exhibition Reception Scheduled for March 23, 2010
New Haven, CT - The City of New Haven is pleased to announce The Ethnic History of New Haven: Pre 1638 to 2000 and Beyond Exhibit by the Ethnic Heritage Center is currently on display in New Haven City Hall Atrium. The 33 panel exhibit depicts the immigration patterns, customs and many contributions of the city’s diverse ethnic communities to the rich tapestry of New Haven’s culture. The exhibit will be open to the public Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm until April 15, 2010.
A reception for the exhibition will be hosted by the New Haven Department of Cultural Affairs and New Haven Sister Cities on Tuesday, March 23 from 5:30-7pm. The public is welcome.
